Hope that you are enjoying your summer and it's been full of fun and relaxation. I wanted to take this moment to let you all know that Nick and myself are in the process of filing paperwork to start a Little League Challenger for Upper Montgomery County. I know many of you have expressed that traveling to Frederick has been financially expensive and hard due to the distance.
We have spoke with the Board of Directors of Frederick Little League and would be glad to team up with them to play. Our hopes is to start in Spring of 2011 but need help. We need to have a minimum of five people on the board of directors, to help out. If you or know of anyone who is interested in getting this off the ground. For those of you that aren't familiar with Challenger Little League, it's a no-score kept league that allows children with all disabilities from ages of 4 and up the opportunity to play ball. We are wanting to play in and around the county but need parents help and input.
We would love to help others in the county and have great fun as well.
